Three arrested for allegedly printing fake Philippine currency in Manila

Authorities arrested three individuals for allegedly manufacturing fake Philippine currency in a law enforcement operation in Manila on Sunday morning.
In a report, Manila Police District (MPD) Special Mayor's Reaction Team said arrested were Paulo Guevara, 35, a resident of 1532 Loyola St. Sampaloc; Francis Tuwaly, 27, of 1045 P Guevarra St Sta Cruz, and Datu Haron Mangundatu , 34, of 2040 B Smith St. Singalong.
The suspect were arrested by virtue of search warrant against Guevarra regarding the manufacturing of counterfeit Philippines currency which was issued by Judge Thelma Bunyi Medina for Violation Article 166, 168, and 176 of the Revised Penal Code.
Based on initial report, the suspects were arrested during the implementation of search warrant at the vicinity of 1532 Loyola corner Valencia Street , Sampaloc about 11:40 am.
During the operation, personnel of the Special Mayors Reaction Team and Police Station 4 of the Quezon City Police District assisted by representatives from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas also seized tea bags containing suspected marijuana leaves and various drug paraphernalia.
