On Saturday, two were injured while almost 100 families were left homeless after a fire broke out around 5:08 am in a two-story house along Kaingin Bukid, Tabing Ilog Street Barangay Apolonio Samson in Quezon City.

In a report, the Quezon City police district said the house is owned by a certain Donna Serenado who was on vacation with her family.

The fire spread into neighboring houses as it is made of light materials.

It reached fourth alarm before it was put out around 6:28 am.

Police said around 50 houses were affected with damage estimated at P250,000.

On Friday, a fire occurred inside a portion of Sta. Cruz Parish Church and in a small beauty products factory in San Juan City.

A report from the Manila Police District said the left front portion of Sta Cruz Parish Church blazed around 5:45 pm, lasting for almost 20 minutes until it was declared fire out around 6:03 pm.

According to a witness, when he entered inside The Chapel of the Saints, he saw the fire began at the candle stand.

There were no casualty reported and series of structures inside the church were not damage except the candle stand.

A fire hit a two-story factory at Barangay Balong Bato in San Juan City around 11 am.

San Juan City Fire Office 1 JV Toringan said the building was made of mixed concrete and wood materials.

The fire reached second alarm before being put out around 12:10 am of Saturday.

Toringan said there are no reported casualties and they are now gathering evidence on the incident.

He said they are now in contact with the owner of the place and its tenants.

“We are verifying the business permit secured by the owner of the building and the tenant which owned the factory,” he said.
