Three shot dead in Makati: police

Three persons were shot dead by two male suspects on the back of two motorcycles around 12:10 am on Tuesday in Makati, a police report said.

Shot dead were Reynante Gutierrez, 32; Noriel Camposano, 38 and Roberto Tuso, of legal age by the two back riders of the motorcycles with unknown plate number along Sunrise St, Barangay La Paz, police said.

The fatalities were all residents of Sunrise street. Police said a background check Barangay La Paz said the three were known drug users. They surrendered to the police's anti-drug operation Oplan Tokhang but the police report did not say when this happened.

Scene of the crime operatives of the Southern Police District led by Senior Inspector Gerald Villar  recovered 16 pieces of fired cartridge cases and four fired bullets corresponding to a caliber 9mm pistol. Recovered pieces of evidence will be subjected for ballistic examination, the police report said. DMS
