Three suspected rebels arrested in Agusan del Norte

Government forces apprehended suspected three rebels in Agusan Del Norte on Wednesday, a military official said Friday.
1Lt. Roel Maglalang, civil military operation officer of the 23rd Infantry Battalion, said they were apprehended in their residences by the military and police in Butuan City at around 5:45 pm of Wednesday.
The three suspected rebels, residents of Brgy Caloc-an, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte, were identified as Sherlita Perales, alias Bago; Honey Grace Kamanyan Perales alias Tisay, a member of Guerilla Front (GF) 4A of the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC) of the NPA; and Maniel Bahian alias Ribo, an Intel Staff Officer of GF-4A, NCMRC.
Maglalang said Sherlita Perales has an arrest warrant for illegal possession of firearms and explosives under Criminal Case No. 2019-517 issued by Judge Eduardo Casals of Regional Trial Court Branch 2 in Butuan City ,
Honey Grace KPerales is facing charges for robbery in band under Criminal Case No. 2019-610 in RTC Branch 5 in Butuan City, said Maglalang.
Bahian is charged with arson under Criminal Case No. 2019-598 at RTC Branch 5 in Butuan City with no bail, added Maglalang.
Maglalang said the three "are members of the fund generating team of GF 4A who receive and collect extorted money and send it to Jelan Pinakilid alias Baking, the finance officer, GF-4A, NCMRC, through money transfer." Robina Asido/DMS
