Total COVID-19 cases reach 85, 486

The Department of Health (DOH) said Wednesday new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reached 1,874 which brought total cases to 85, 486.
Active cases are now at 56, 528 of which 90.1 percent are mild, asymptomatic at 9 percent; severe 0.5 percent and critical at 0.4 percent.
National Capital Region accounted for 728 of the new cases followed by Cebu, 325; Laguna, 130; Iloilo, 67 and Rizal, 53.
Sixteen deaths were reported, with six taking place in the NCR, to raise the tally to 1,962.
Three hundred and eighty-eight patients survived COVID-19, which brought total recoveries to 26,996. DMS
