Total deaths from COVID-19 reached 10,000

Deaths from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) reached 10,000 after 64 persons died, the Department of Health (DOH) said Wednesday.
New COVID-19 cases came in at 1,862 which raised total cases to 505,939.
Zamboanga City reported 206 new cases, the highest of the day, followed by Davao City's 109 and Kalinga, with 102.
Quezon City was fourth highest with 77 and Benguet, 74.
There were 765 persons who overcame COVID-19, which raised total recoveries to 466, 993. DMS
