The transportation department is inviting bidders for five provincial airport projects as previously pre-qualified bidders for the bundled project will move on to the next stage of auction process.
Through an invitation to pre-qualify and bid published Tuesday, the agency is bidding out five regional airports after the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board approved last November 14, 2016 the unbundling of these airport PPP deals.
The five provincial airports are the P20.26-billion Bacolod-Silay International Airport and the P30.4-billion Iloilo International Airport, the P14.62-billion Laguindingan Airport, P2.34-billion New Bohol (Panglao) Airport and P40.57-billion Davao International Airport.
According to the transportation department, the project is also open to new bidders. DMS
