Two Australian Navy vessels arriving Thursday for three-day goodwill visit

Two vessels of Royal Australian Navy will arrive for a three-day visit this week, a spokesman of the Philippine Navy said Wednesday.
Capt. Lued Lincuna said Her Majesty’s Australian Ship Anzac (FFH 150) and Success (OR 304) are scheduled to arrive at Alava Warf in Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Olongapo City Thursday.
Lincuna said the welcome ceremony for the two vessels will be held around 8 am.
“Welcome ceremony and port briefing will be conducted upon arrival of the RAN vessels at the dock after a customary meeting procedure with BRP Emilio Jacinto (PS35) at the vicinity of Morong, Bataan,” he said.
FFH150 is classified as a frigate while OR 304 is an Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment vessel which has a length of 157.2 meters.
Lincuna said during their visit the Australian Navy is set to have some engagements with the Philippine Navy. Robina Asido/DMS
