Two barangay officials killed in Isabela shooting incident

Two barangay officials were killed while a village captain was hurt and another one is missing after a shooting incident in Isabela province on Wednesday morning,.
Supt. Ronald Laggui, Isabela provincial police spokesman, said initial report disclosed the victims were on board an owner-type jeep when they were fired upon by unidentified suspects in the vicinity of Brgy. Annanuman, San Pablo, Isabela around 8 am.
He said the victims were on their way to Cabaga town when they were shot at.
Laggui identified the fatalities as Bonifacio Lumabi, 48 (barangay watchman) and Rey Mabborang 42 (barangay treasurer).
He said the barangay captain identified as Bricio Gammaru, 36 was wounded while a certain Kingberly Antonio, 22 is missing.
Laggui said authorities are pursuing the suspects. Robina Asido/DMS
