Two drug suspects killed in Batangas buy-bust operation

Two drug suspects were killed during a buy-bust operation in the province of Batangas on Thursday night, police said Friday.
Chief Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, Calabarzon regional police director, said the victims were Marlon Adrias and Marlon Lubugan.
He said based on initial report authorities were conducting buy-bust operation when the encounter occurred in the vicinity of Brgy. Matabungkay, Lian around 9:50 pm.
Eleazar said the suspects sustained gunshot wounds and were declared dead on arrival at Apacible Memorial District hospital in Nasugbu.
“Recovered from the scene were two caliber 45 pistol (and)two heat shield transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu,” he said.
