Two killed, 41 suspects nabbed in Cavite 24-hour police operation

Two people were killed, while 41 alleged suspects were arrested in Cavite police’s 24-hour operation last Tuesday.
The Cavite Police Provincial Office said the two unidentified suspects were killed in an encounter after they grabbed a motorcycle in Molino Paliparan Road, Brgy. Paliparan 3, in Dasmariñas City around 11pm.
“The two suspects pulled out their handguns and fired upon the responding officers who accosted them for their suspicious manner and likewise fits the description given by the victim,” police report said.
Police recovered two guns of caliber .38 and .45, two sachets of alleged shabu (crystal meth), and the supposedly stolen motorcycle.
On their campaign against illegal drugs, Cavite police conducted nine buy-busts and one drug related operation which resulted in the arrest of 22 drug suspects and confiscation of around two kilos and 8.34 grams of suspected shabu with estimated value of P13, 656, 712.
Also arrested were 28 people charged with various crimes, including theft, robbery, and illegal drug possession, and sale of shabu.
Arrested suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to Cavite Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (SOCO) while criminal complaints will be filed against them. Ella Dionisio/DMS
