Typhoon deaths rise to 81, missing at 70: PNP

The Philippine National Police said Wednesday the death toll from Typhoon Ompong climbed to 81 from 74 in the previous day, with 66 of the casualties recorded in the Cordillera Administrative Region where a landslide hit a bunkhouse in Itogon.
The number of missing rose to 70 from 66 on Tuesday, with the number in Cordillera now at 66 from 60.
Wounded were 71 persons from Tuesday's 74. DMS
