URGENT: IATF restores one-meter distancing in public transport
September 17, 2020
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said the 0.75 meter distancing between passengers in public transport has been suspended after it was cut by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) from one meter on Monday.
This was announced during a meeting of the Inter-Agency Task Force, said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, according to dzBB.
Health professionals criticized the reduced physical distancing in public transport, claiming that it will increase the number of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases. DMS
