URGENT Metro mayors to allow persons aged 18-65 to leave homes
October 19, 2020
Metro Manila mayors will permit persons aged 18-65 to leave homes from an earlier suggestion allowing persons aged 15-65 since the National Capital Region is under general community quarantine (GCQ).
This was announced by Metro Manila Development Authority ( MMDA) general manager Jojo Garcia in the Laging Handa virtual briefing, dzBB reported Monday.
Garcia said mayors said curfew hours starting 12 am to 4 am will be implemented as soon as local chief executives synchronize ordinances.
Garcia said Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco will retain the 8 pm to 5 am curfew to prevent persons from milling around area and conducting drinking sprees. DMS
