Valentine’s Day is coldest day of the year
February 14, 2017
BAGUIO CITY- It’s the coldest day of the year here as lovers mark Valentine’s Day.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration (PAGASA) said Tuesday temperature reading dipped to 8 degrees Celsius at 6am, the lowest so far for the year.
Benguet, usually two degrees lower, has caused aching joints and bones.
The one degree drop in temperature from Saturday morning’s 9.6 degrees have spurred complaints from residents as thick clothing is apparently not enough.
PAGASA forecasts temperatures to fall as summer starts at the end of February or early March.
Baguio’s coldest was 6.3 degrees on January 19, 1961. DMS
