202 MRT-3 personnel positive for COVID-19

Two hundred and two MRT-3 personnel tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Department of Transportation ( DOTr) said Wednesday.
Assistant Transportation Secretary Goddes Hope Libiran, in a message, said 181 personnel tested positive in the depot, 16 from station, three train drivers and two from control center.
Among station personnel found positive of COVID-19 were 15 ticket sellers ( eight from North Avenue, three from Cubao, two from GMA Kamuning, one from Quezon Avenue and one on reserve status).
On Monday,a total of 186 personnel tested positive from COVID-19, forcing DOTr to temporarily close MRT-3 from Tuesday to Saturday for contract tracing and disinfection of stations.
Libiran said out of the approximately 3,200 MRT-3 personnel, three hundred and thirty nine employees will be tested Wednesday. DMS
