37-year-old Chinese male dies of pneumonia at San Lazaro: DOH

A 57-year-old Chinese man, who is a person under investigation (PUI) for the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), died of pneumonia in a government hospital, the Department of Health (DOH) said Friday.
In a press conference, Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo said the Chinese male died at the San Lazaro Hospital in Manila.
"It was confirmed yesterday (Thursday). It is a case of pneumonia in a patient with underlying restrictive lung disease," said Domingo.
He said the patient tested for 2019-nCoV negative.
Previously, a 29-year old Chinese male, also a PUI, died of pneumonia while at the San Lazaro Hospital. He was later tested negative for the 2019-nCoV.
Subsequently, a 44-year-old Chinese male, who tested positive for the 2019-nCoV, died at San Lazaro Hospital, the first recorded death outside China.
Aside from the three deaths, a 38-year-old Chinese female became the country's 1st confirmed 2019-nCoV case. She is still confined at San Lazaro.
A 60-year-old Chinese female, became the third confirmed 2019-nCoV case in the country. She was found positive after she was discharged from the hospital where she was treated and found negative of the coronavirus.
The DOH said the cumulative number of identified PUIs rose to 215.
Of the PUIs, there are 184 admitted and isolated, nine refused admission, and 17 have been discharged but under strict monitoring. DMS
