70 drug suspects nabbed in 2-day ops in Camanava, Quezon City

Authorities have rounded up around 70 alleged drug suspects in separate two-day drug operations in Camanava (Caloocan- Malabon- Navotas- Valenzuela) area and Quezon City.
Northern Police District Director Brigadier General Rolando Anduya, in a report, said they were able to arrest 38 drug suspects after their nine successful operations during the conduct of continuous anti-illegal drugs operation within Camanava.
He commended the operatives for consecutive successful operations.
Based on their records, 21 persons in Caloocan City were arrested, 13 in Valenzuela City, and four in Malabon City.
Anduya said NPD would continue to strengthen the surveillance and to counter notorious pushers who are spreading illegal drugs in Camanava.
Meanwhile, Quezon City Police District Director Brigadier General Joselito Esquivel Jr. said they nabbed 32 individuals allegedly involved in illegal drugs in their latest operations in the city.
Esquivel lauded the operatives for their relentless campaign against illegal drugs and encouraged the public not to hesitate to report identified drug personalities or any illegal drug activities in their area.
All the suspects are now under the police custody and complaints would be filed against them while the minors were turned over to City Social Services and Development Department for proper program intervention. Ella Dionisio/DMS
