AC Health to build first comprehensive cancer specialty hospital
May 9, 2019
AC Health said Wednesday it intends to build the first dedicated cancer specialty hospital in the Philippines.
The stand-alone Cancer Hospital, to be built with an investment of approximately P2 billion, is envisioned to be a fully integrated, 100-bed facility in Metro Manila, Ayala Health said in a statement.
This announcement comes after the recent passage of the Cancer Control Act (RA 11215), which allows for the creation of cancer specialty hospitals and clinics by the private sector to complement and support public sector efforts to improve cancer care in the Philippines. DMS
