ACT-CIS shows way in partial official partylist count

The partylist group that was supported by broadcast personality, Erwin Tulfo is leading the raise with almost two million votes.

Based on Commission on Elections ( Comelec) partial and official results Thursday night, ACT-CIS or Anti-Crime and Terrorism Through Community Involvement and Support got 10.05 percent or 2,147,970 votes from 107 automated certificate of canvass they received.

A total of 181 party-list groups are eyeing a seat at the 59 up for grabs.

Following ACT-CIS is AKO Bicol with 4.59 percent or 980, 443 votes, Bayan Muna with 4.04 percent or 864, 333 votes, Cibac with 3.40 percent or 725,753 votes, Ang Probinsyano with 2.99 percent or 572, 885 votes, 1Pacman with 2.68 percent or 572,885 votes, Probinsyano Ako with 2.39 percent or 509, 924 votes, An Waray with 1.97 percent or 421, 050 votes, Senior Citizens with 1.94 percent or 415, 308 votes and APEC with 1.79 percent or 382, 122 votes.

Other organizations with one percentage of votes are Marino with 374, 924 votes, Magsasaka with 374, 795 votes, Abono with 374, 088 votes, Gabriela with 364, 006 votes, Tingog Sinirangan with 362, 286 votes, Ako Bisaya with 347, 917 votes, Coop-Natcco with 344, 290 votes, Philreca with 312, 026 votes, Act-Teachers with 310,707 votes and Buhay with 299,755 votes.

Gabriela, Coop-Natcco and Philreca were included in the top 10 list with highest voters for partylist organizations.

In an earlier statement, Kontra Daya said at least 34 of partylist organizations have links to political dynasties or officials elected in other positions; represent special business interests; or possess questionable advocacies and nominees. Ella Dionisio/DMS
