Peter Joemel Advincula, who claims to be the man behind the anti-Duterte videos. was hospitalized Friday morning due to high blood pressure.
According to Philippine National Police (PNP) General Oscar Albayalde, Advincula, who says he is "Bikoy", was brought to the PNP hospital.
"Based from the feedback that I got his BP (blood pressure) shot up to 130 over 90 and he also mentioned feeling dizzy. So we brought him to the hospital. He probably needs some rest," Albayalde said.
Albayalde also said Advincula was admitted inside the PNP headquarters due to security reasons and his warrant of arrest.
"Actually it's more risky if (we will bring him in a hospital outside the headquarters). We have a hospital here so why should we take him somewhere else?"
"We would also need to keep an eye on him for sure if he's admitted outside since he is still not allowed to be released due to standing warrant of arrest," Albayalde explained. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
