Albayalde hopes to see NCRPO attain more successes

Philippine National Police ( PNP) chief Police General Oscar Albayalde hopes to see the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will rise to greater success in pursuit of their mandate.
During NCRPO’s 118th Police Service Anniversary, Albayalde congratulated them for being the Best Police Regional Office (PRO) in the country.
“I am glad to see that this police office has been scaling new heights of performance and achievement in the pursuance of its mission these past few years,” he said.
“In the remaining months of my term, I hope to see the NCRPO rise to even greater heights of success in the pursuance of its mandate,” he added.
Albayalde, who will reach the mandatory retirement age of 56 on November 8, was the NCRPO chief before being promoted as chief of the PNP.
He said he wants the NCRO to remain as a model of excellent and honourable service.
“And I know that you can achieve this if you continue to be united, to work hard and serve the community along the ideals of service, honor and justice, and with the Lord at the center of all your endeavors,” he said.
The PNP chief also congratulated the awardees.
Ten uniformed and non-uniformed personnel received individual awards, mostly from the Quezon City Police District and Eastern Police District.
QCPD was named best police district while Caloocan City police station got the best city police station and Sta. Cruz (Manila) Police Station for numbered station level.
The best district Mobile Force Battalion was won by Quezon City Police District once more and a special recognition was presented to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion for being nominated as best for national level.
Best women and children protection desk was awarded to Southern Police District, San Juan City Police Station for station level and Pandacan (Manila) Police Station for numbered police station level.
The Best Human Rights Affairs office was the Northern Police District, Mandaluyong City for city police station level and Jose Abad Santos (Manila) Police Station for numbered station level.
QCPD, Valenzuela and Novaliches police stations got the award for units with highest accomplishment in Project Double Barrel.
The NCRPO Regional Health Service got the best regional support unit for administration award.
The Southern Police District got the award for highest index crime solution efficiency; Northern Police District for highest percentage of arrested/ neutralized top most wanted person and largest volume of illegal drugs seized; Manila Police District for most number of firearms confiscated and most number of arrested person in anti-illegal drugs operation; QCPD for highest performance evaluation rating, most number of surrenderers, and most number of arrested violators of city ordinance; and Eastern Police District for most number of cleared barangays.
Best police community precinct was awarded to Police Community Precinct 2, Police Station 5 Fairview under QCPD.
In recognition to the Regional Support Unit for Administration, a plaque was given to the Regional Communication and Electronics, Regional Finance Service Office 16 and Regional Legal Office.
The Special Action Force, Joint Task Force- NCR Armed Forces of the Philippines, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (J2 AFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Metro Manila Development Authority, Bureau of Immigration, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., Resort’s World Manila Foundation Inc., SM Foundation, Naval Intelligence and Security Force- NCR, and PNP Officers Ladies Club also received plaque of recognition for support given to NCRPO.
“I hope you will remain hardworking, great and honorable in serving the people and continue to become an example to you co-police officers,” said Albayalde.
The NCRPO chief, Major General Guillermo Eleazar, expressed his profound gratitude to everyone especially to President Rodrigo Duterte and to Albayalde for all-out support to all undertakings of the NCRPO.
Eleazar also thanked 26,766 gallant men and women of the NCRPO for their dedication to duty; to local government units, non-government organizations, media, stakeholders and the public for their trust and support to NCRPO. Ella Dionisio/DMS
