Albayalde tells lotto operators PNP were following orders

BAGUIO CITY – At least a dozen outlets and a Small Town Lottery (STL) office in Baguio and Benguet were shut down by authorities Saturday noon.
Police General Oscar Albayalde, the head of the Philippine National Police (PNP), led authorities in closing the outlets after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered them shut down Friday night.
“We are just following orders,” Albayalde told operators and lotto employees.
Duterte ordered the PNP and the military to ensure the enforcement of his order.
“There was no report of any resistance,” Albayalde told reporters.
Most lotto outlets in Baguio City shut down before Albayalde, with Cordillera police director Brig. General Ephraim Dickson and Baguio City police chief Col. Allan Rae Co and a phalanx of policemen arrived. DMS
