Alleged drug suspect killed in Camarines Norte buy-bust

An alleged drug suspect was killed during a buy-bust operation in Camarines Norte Sunday morning.
Chief Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol region police spokesperson, said the slain suspect was identified as Ferdinand Udtohan, 34, and a resident of Purok 7 Barangay Tugos, Parcale, Camarines Norte.
As stated in a police report, a buy-bust operation was conducted by the Basud Municipal Police and Camarines Norte provincial intelligence branch with the Bicol region Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency around 1:40 am.
The operation resulted in an armed confrontation between the authorities and Udtohan which caused the suspect's death.
Police recovered five big heat-sealed transparent sachets allegedly containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth P20,000. A suspected .38 caliber gun without a serial number was also confiscated. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
