At least 16 dead in Bicol from ”Rolly”: OCD

At least 16 persons died and three missing during the onslaught of Super Typhoon in Bicol, the regional Office of Civil Defense said Monday.
Ten died in Albay while six perished in Catanduanes. The missing victims were recorded in Guinobatan, Albay and Catanduanes.
Deaths in Albay were broken down into three in Guinobatan, two each in Malinao and Tabaco City, one each in Daraga, Oas and Polangui.
In Catanduanes, four died in Virac while one casualty each was reported in San Miguel and Gigmoto.
As of Monday, the total number of displaced population in Bicol reached 96,887 families or 372,381 persons, of which 78,922 families or 302,907 persons were in evacuation centers.
It added that total of 76,176 houses were damaged, of which 55,515 are partially damaged while 20,661 others were totally destroyed.
A total of P694,366,305.89 worth of damage or loss to agriculture due to Super Typhoon ''Rolly'' were recorded in Bicol.
As of 8 am Monday, the OCD said 212 passengers with one bus, 63 trucks, 32 light vehicles, 13 vessels were stranded in the ports of Bicol. Robina Asido/DMS
