At least four dead in Pampanga from quake: officials

At least four died and one injured in Pampanga after a magnitude 6.1 earthquake jolted parts of Luzon Monday afternoon.
Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda said in an interview over dzBB that as of 6 pm two were confirmed dead in the municipality of Porac.
"An old lady and her grandchild died. Some parts of the old lady's head (were) scattered because they were pinned down by a wall that fell (during the earthquake," Pineda said.
Porac Vice Mayor Dexter David, in a television interview, said two minors died
She added that there were reports of people trapped in four-storey building. Other casualty reports in Pampanga are still being verified, Pineda explained.
The earthquake, which lasted 10 to 12 seconds, caused damage in the province.
Among reported damages were the Clark Airport, a concrete post in Lubao Church, an arch located in the boundary of Bataan and Pampanga, electric posts and buildings.
An initial report from the Manila Police District meanwhile said one was reported injured along Ongpin to a broken glass. The victim was brought to Perpetual Hospital. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
