Authorities seize P18 million worth of illegal drugs in Bacolod

Authorities on Friday seized P18 million worth of illegal drugs from an alleged drug suspect who tried to escape by climbing the roof of his neijghbor's house in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City.

In a report from the Western Visayas region police, operatives from the Bacolod City Police Office conducted a buy-bust operation against a high value target identified as Kenneth Jacosalem, 27 at  Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing around 3:30 pm.

Seized from Jacosalem were a total of P18, 075,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Suspect is under the police custody and will face cases for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  Ella Dionisio/DMS
