Authorities seize P6 million worth of drugs from two women in Cavite

Authorities on Wednesday seized around P6 million worth of illegal drugs from two women listed on Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) watchlist during a buy-bust operation in Rosario, Cavite.
Police Col. Marlon Santos, the Cavite provincial director, said the arrested suspects were Paula Noah, 39 and a former detainee at the provincial jail in Trece Martires; and Dolores Santos, 44, who are both listed in the Unified Drug Watch list of PDEA.
Santos said the two suspected pushers were arrested while selling shabu to a policeman who acted as poseur buyer in Barangay Tejeros, Rosario in the evening of January 15.
Confiscated were a total of 1.005 kilos of suspected shabu with street value of P 6,834,000 during the operation.
The suspects were under police custody and will face criminal case for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ella Dionisio/DMS
