Bowling coach shot dead in San Juan

A bowling coach who won the 1992 World Youth Championship was killed by a gunman in San Juan City on Friday.
Senior Superintendent Dindo Reyes, San Juan police chief, said the victim as Angelo Nathaniel Constantino.
The shooting happened at the E-Lanes Bowling Center at the second floor of a building in Greenhills at around 5 p.m.
Reyes said Constantino was having snacks in a restobar when the suspect wearing a face mask approached him. A witness told police the gunman posed as a customer and even talked
with the cashier.
He then shot Constantino once on the head. He died while being rushed to a hospital.
“The suspect escaped through the parking area at the basement,” Reyes said in a phone interview.
The suspect rode a yellow scooter driven by a male companion and sped towards Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City.
Probers recovered a bullet casing from a .45 caliber pistol at the scene and the firearm at the basement.
The Philippine Bowling Federation, in its Facebook page, expressed its condolence to Constantino's family and said '' it will surely miss the presence of a truly dedicated coach, athlete and champion.'' DMS
