BPI online banking transactions restored
April 12, 2019
Bank of the Philippine Islands ( BPI) announced on Friday that it has restored its services after customers experienced issues with transactions due to a system upgrade.
In a statement Friday morning, BPI said all financial transactions will finally get processed through their banking channels. But slower access in some services are still expected because of a surge in customers.
"Due to the surge of usage, please expect slower access to our online and mobile platforms. We expect usage traffic and access to normalize within the course of the day. Thank you for your patience and continued patronage," BPI said.
Last Wednesday BPI announced in a statement that transactions for their customers will be temporarily available due to ''some issues with the systems upgrade." It added some branches will have limited capacity with their services. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
