Chinese President Xi leaves after two-day state visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping left Manila after a two-day state visit around 1:30 pm Wednesday.
Xi met with Senate President Vicente Sotto III and House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in the morning.
On Monday night, China and the Philippines signed at least 29 agreements, including the memorandum of understanding on cooperation on oil and gas development.
President Rodrigo Duterte and visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping witnessed the exchange of MOUs, letters, and loan agreements between the two countries in a ceremony in Malacanang after their expanded bilateral meeting. DMS
