Coast Guard rescues 24 passengers of capsized motorboat in Cebu

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued passengers of a motorboat that capsized off the waters of Cebu province on Tuesday.
Capt. Armand Balilo, PCG spokesman, said the personnel of PCG District in Central Visayas rescued 24 passengers of MB Poseidon 2, at the vicinity waters off Naga City.
Balilo said the motorboat was on its way to Cebu City from Brgy. Tuyan, Naga City when it capsized after being hit by big waves.
Balilo said the rescued passengers were brought to Naga Port in Cebu for proper disposition.
"PCG personnel reported that all rescued individuals were in good physical condition when they were brought to the Naga Port, Cebu," he said. Robina Asido/DMS
