Dengue deaths in three regions surpass 100: NDRRMC

The death toll because of dengue in Western and Central Visayas surpassed 100, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Wednesday.
The NDRRMC said deaths have reached 152 as of July 3 from January 1 this year.
The number of dengue cases also rose to 25,772 in Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas and Soccsksargen regions.
The recorded death toll and number of dengue cases rose after NDRRMC were able to include the report from the areas of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.
The death toll in Antique also increased to six from five recorded on July 16. Robina Asido/DMS
