DOH reports 2,298 new COVID-19 cases

There were 2,298 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reported by the Department of Health (DOH) on Monday.
This brought total cases to 385, 400 out of which 29, 301 were active cases, the DOH said.
Provinces or cities which posted high new COVID-19 cases were led by Benguet 188, Davao City 166, Rizal 119, Quezon City 116 and Bulacan 91.
Thirty-two persons died from COVID-19, which raised total deaths to 7, 269.
There were 87 persons who overcame COVID-19, which placed total recoveries at 348, 830. DMS
