DOH reports 3, 249 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) Thursday reported 3,249 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 205, 581.

The National Capital Region (NCR) accounted for 1,584 of these new cases.

Ninety-seven persons died from COVID-19, the DOH said raising total fatalities to 3 234. The NCR drew the highest number of deaths at 63.

The DOH said 566 persons survived COVID-19, with total recoveries at 133,990. DMS
