DOLE suspends all job fairs due to COVID-19
March 17, 2020
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has ordered the postponement of all job fairs nationwide.
Based on DOLE Administrative Order No. 106-2020 Monday, there will be no job fairs to be held temporarily.
"Employment facilitation programs, which entail mass gatherings (i.e. Job and Business Fairs), are put on hold," said DOLE.
This, it explained, is in accordance to the government's call for social distancing.
"(This is) pursuant to the directive on strict social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19," said DOLE. DMS
