Duterte admits greatest opponent not opposition but corruption such as drug recycling

President Rodrigo Duterte said on Tuesday his greatest opponent was not the opposition but corruption in government, including drug recycling.
Duterte shared this during his speech at the oath-taking of newly-appointed officials in government in Malacañang.
"Corruption in drugs is true. They are always saying about recycled (drugs)...kill all the crooked policemen," he said.
"I was only about two months in office and I said I did not realize that my greatest enemy or opponent is not really the opposition. Just do what is right and let them do the talking," Duterte said.
However, he admitted that it is more difficult if the "enemy" is the "government itself," citing corruption at the Bureaus of Customs and Internal Revenue.
"So I just said I’ll probably deal with corruption, drugs, because it’s killing my country," Duterte said.
In a Senate investigation regarding the controversy in the implementation of the good conduct time allowance law, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director-General Aaron Aquino disclosed that unscrupulous policemen recycled seized illegal drugs either by selling or planting them as evidence in fake operations.
