Duterte arrives for AFP change of command ceremony

President Rodrigo Duterte arrived for the change of command ceremony for the new Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff at Camp Aguinaldo on Saturday.

This was his first public appearance after missing two activities in the last two days.

On Friday, he failed to visit victims of the recent earthquake in Malalang and Padada, Davao del Sur.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo told reporters Duterte '' needs sleep as he had a lot of things to do in the previous days.''  Robina Asido/DMS
