Duterte names Rolando Macasaet as GSIS president, general manager

President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the nomination of Rolando L. Macasaet as the president and general manager of state-run Government Service Insurance System.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea confirmed Macasaet's appointment in a text message.
Macasaet was first appointed as member of the Board of Trustees of GSIS in June 2018. In July 2019, he was designated as OIC-President and General Manager.
Last month, Duterte approved the nomination of retired Chief Jsutice Lucas Bersamin as chairman of GSIS. Celerina Monte/DMS
