Duterte promises more medical care units to Army

President Rodrigo Duterte promised to provide more mobile medical care units to the Philippine Army.
During the sidelines of the the 122nd Army anniversary, Duterte was briefed about the Medical Treatment Facility and the National Housing Authority Battalion/ Brigade Modular Command Facility.
“I congratulate everybody for your anniversary,” Duterte said while inside one of the facilities addressing guests at the Philippine Army Officers Club House.
“We will be setting up more (medical facility). We just found the money now… you will have an additional of this kind of hospital,” he said.
Presented also to the president was the new Special Medical Emergency Evacuation Device.
Duterte said it costs around P400 million and he will give the budget to Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana on Friday.
“I would like to assure you that you have my full backing and you are priority during my time. I’m checking what we can still add,” said Duterte.
Duterte reiterated he will take full legal responsibility for the military and police.
“I would rather stay in prison of this camp… I take full responsibility. You have my support,” said Duterte.
Earlier, Duterte was present during the unveiling of the Marawi Heroes Memorial. He had a short conversation with families of the victims.
In a photo posted online, Duterte was seen kissing the memorial.
