October 17, 2019
President Rodrigo Duterte showed up on Thursday night in a gathering of businessmen in a hotel in Manila a day after his motorcycle accident.
Duterte arrived at about 7:30pm, two-and-a-half hours late, at the Manila Hotel to deliver a speech at the 45th Philippine Conference and Expo.
Despite his fall from a motorcycle Wednesday night, Duterte was not limping. The event lasted for one hour and 19 minutes.
Earlier in the day, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Duterte was reaching his shoe when he fell off his motorcycle that resulted to his minor injury, particularly light bruises and slight scratches, to his elbow and knee.
He assured that the President was fine and did not need major medical procedure due to the accident. Celerina Monte/DMS
