Duterte wears air purifier necklace vs cough, colds

President Rodrigo Duterte has been wearing an air purifier necklace to protect him from cough and colds.

Wearing a white Barong when he welcomed in Malacanang visiting Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday, it was noticeable that Duterte was wearing a small rectangular white necklace.

Asked what was it, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, in a text message to reporters said, "That is an air purifier, so that he will be protected from persons within his proximity who have cough and colds."

Duterte apparently has been wearing the air purifier for about a week already.
