First batch of Filipinos from cruise ship in Japan arriving before 9 pm

A total of 451 Filipinos from the Diamond Princess cruise ship which underwent a 14-day quarantine off Yokohama, Japan to prevent the spread of the 2019 coronavirus disease ( COVID-2019) will arrive on two chartered planes in Clark Tuesday night.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said 311 Filipinos on the first special Philippine Airlines charter flight will be arriving around 10:05 pm in Clark.
The second flight, which has 140 Filipinos of the remaining crew members of the Diamond Princess left Tuesday night and is expected in Clark ''sometime before 12 midnight'', the DFA added. DMS
