Five hurt in Tondo fire

Five victims were injured in a fire in Manila on Thursday morning.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), the fire occured at the residential area in Brgy. 210, Tondo around 12:54 am.
The fire, which burnt around 75 homes, affected around 120 families.
The MPD said initial report shows that P1.5 million worth of properties were damaged.
Police identified the injured victim as Reynaldo Tostuna Jr., 46, Mike Dimalanta, 23, Robert Santilises, 41, JL Data, 27, and Fire Officer 2 Morishima Bulasa, 27.
The victims sustained minor injuries like laceration and fracture of fingers and hand and contusion of arm.
The MPD did not say how the fire happened but it said the blaze was declared under control around 4:22 am.
The fire, which reached Task Force Delta, ended around 6:07 am. Robina Asido/DMS
