Five soldiers injured as vehicle hit by improvised bomb in Maguindanao

Five soldiers were injured as an Army vehicle was struck by an improvised bomb explosion Monday morning at Meta bridge, Barangay Meta, Datu Unsay municipality in Maguindanao province. In an initial report of the Datu Unsay Municipal Station, the soldiers, led by 1st Lieutenant Jano Cyrol Reyes and who belonged to the 57th Infantry Battalion, were brought to the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center and Cotabato City Hospital for treatment. The culprits behind the blast are allegedly members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, the police report said. DMS
