Four alleged Abu Sayyaf members arrested in Zamboanga

Four alleged Abu Sayyaf members were arrested in Zamboanga City early Thursday morning.
Police Major Helen Galvez, Zamboanga police spokesperson, said apprehended were Aljiver Habibula, 35; Omar Julaspih, 22; Rody Marail, 36; and Nash Amik, 32. They were temporarily residing in Zamboanga City and are from Sulu.
They were arrested through a search warrant at Mangal Drive, Baliwasan in Grande, Zamboanga City around 3 am.
During the search, improvised explosive device materials were confiscated.
Authorities also recovered firearms, ammunition and bomb making materials.
They are facing charges of violating Republic Act 9516 or Illegal Possession of Firearms and Explosives. Ella Dionisio/DMS
