Four arrested, around P258,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in Caloocan

Four persons were arrested and around P258,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in Caloocan City on Friday night. 

According to police, a buy-bust operation at 11 pm in Kaunlaran Village resulted in the arrest of four individuals and seizure of 35 grams of illegal drugs. 

The nabbed suspects were identified as Alexandra Lim, Ardee Quintos, Jayson Tablante, and Kar Christian Provido. 

Authorities seized eight pieces of medium sachet heat sealed transparent  plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one open transparent sachet containing alleged shabu, one thin strip aluminum foil with traces of illegal drugs, and two disposable lighters.

Also confiscated from the suspects were a coin purse, a sling bag, a digital weighing scale, two mobile phones, and P2,200 worth of alleged buy-bust and drug money.

The suspects were brought at the Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit office for proper disposition and pending filing of charges in court. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
