Four police generals promoted

Police General Oscar Albayalde, the head of the Philippine National Police, administered and witnessed the donning of ranks of four generals last Thursday.
In a statement, PNP said promoted to two-star rank is Police Major General Ramon Rafael, director of the National Police Training Institute in Camp General Vicente Lim in Laguna.
Promoted to one-star rank were Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Llanera from the Zamboanga Region, Police Brigadier General Rex Dela Rosa from Soccsksargen Region, and Police Brigadier General Joseph Ulysses Gohel from the Cordillera Region.
"This year, more police officials are expected to be promoted this year as a few senior officers is set to retire in police service in the coming months," Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, who was also promoted this year, said. Ella Dionisio/DMS
