Authorities arrested four drug suspects and confiscated P10 million worth of illegal drugs in Malabon City early Wednesday morning.
According to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), operatives Malabon City Police Station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a buy-bust operation around 4 am along Aquino road in Barangay Tugatog.
The operation stemmed out from information on the alleged proliferation of illegal drugs in the area and resulted in the arrest of four drug suspects.
Police seized one Chinese tea pack, two medium size plastic sachets and 11 small sachets of suspected shabu with estimated value of P10, 101, 060.
"We have always laid down our commitment to keep the phase and boost our momentum in the fight against the proliferation of illegal drugs. I am grateful for the dedication to duty shown by my men in this operation”, said Police Major General Debold Sinas, acting NCRPO chief, in a statement.
"Our reinvigorated effort towards the attainment of a drug free community is working its way and we greatly encourage cooperation from the public by giving reports of suspected sources especially the big fishes. We cannot do this alone. This is a community effort,” he added.
