Gamboa says time to ”move on” from Robredo drugs reporty
January 20, 2020
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa, said it’s time to “move on” as he considered the drug report of Vice President Leni Robredo case closed.
“The VP case for me is closed. Let's move on forward,” Gamboa said in a press briefing.
On January 6, Robredo presented to the public her report on the government’s campaign against illegal drugs which she saw while she was a co-chairperson of the Interagency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).
Robredo called the campaign a “massive failure” after government forces seized only one percent of the whole supply of illegal drugs in the country.
In his earlier briefing, Gamboa said the appreciation of Robredo was wrong and comparing their estimates to their accomplishments is not even “mathematically acceptable”. Ella Dionisio/DMS
